The Trapper

In the silence of the woods, only the snap of steel breaks the quiet.

The Trapper is one of the four killers featured in *Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim*, a parodic game where players can date the antagonists of *Dead by Daylight*. He appears on the island alongside The Huntress, The Spirit, and The Wraith. Players can romance him while learning his backstory, but if they annoy him or attempt to romance multiple killers at once, they are killed and lose the game. Minigames can also impress him.

Lore & Background

The Trapper is one of the four serial killers from *Dead by Daylight* that players can romance in *Hooked on You*. The game presents him with a cartoon art style, as revealed in the teaser trailer during *Dead by Daylight*'s 6th anniversary livestream on May 17, 2022. After completing the game, players can skip through dialogue to choose different paths.

In Their Own Story

The Trapper is one of the four killers players can date in *Hooked on You*. The game's writing was praised by PC Gamer's Tyler Colp for treating the characters "like real people," regardless of how "ridiculous and detached from their violent role in the multiplayer game" they were. Evan Valentine of ComicBook.com appreciated the game's aesthetic and artwork, stating it successfully represented "the menace of each slasher." GamesRadar called the game "a bit tame" for lacking nudity or erotic content.
